Writing a book is a personal thing, especially when you are creating a piece of work that is semi-autobiographical and has its roots in your own life and background. Some of my videos are really just promotional works but others involve me trying to explain the background to ‘Floating In Space’ and my motivation in writing it.

I try to explain how the work grew from a desire to find my own voice as a writer and how I began by writing a series of essays that were different from everything I had written before. I eventually reworked them into the final book that you can find on amazon, just by clicking here.

To start with here’s a video of me being interviewed on Salford City Radio 94.4 FM. I explain about the background to the book, how it was written and the trials of publication.
