Wow, what a brilliant list, packed with quality! No duds! You really like a song with a strong hook, don’t you? Very eclectic, too, something from most eras. Are they in order of preference? Actually, they’re so good I’d find them very hard to rank.

Interesting piece, Steve, with the theme of enthusiasm running right through it! Your film about plane spotting is a fine testimony to your friend and his passion for planes and a pretty nifty piece of film making in its own right – must have taken time to put together, given the 1980s technology. Nostalgic too – cars, fashions (!) etc. Not surprised it’s had so many views!
